Civil & Mechanical Engineer Qualifications:


1) Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, and E&I).
2) Minimum 8+ years of experience in a similar field.
3) Exposure to EPC/LSTK, Oil & Gas projects is a must, Plant Construction & Maintenance and Pipeline Construction & Maintenance is a must.
4) Hands-on exposure to the relevant software.
5) GCC experience will be an added advantage.
6) Experience in ARAMCO, SABIC, SADARA, and Shutdown will be preferred.

Civil & Mechanical Engineer Job Description:


1) Adapt suitable bidding strategies in line with Resource Availability, Corporate Strength, Changing market conditions, Client requirements, giving due importance to management decisions from time to time.
2) Thoroughly review and understand the Bid/Project package and requirements.
3) Technical elaboration/interpretation of the Scope of Work.
4) Prepare / Assign responsibility matrix, proposal plans & schedules, and guide the estimators in precise estimation.
5) Arrange bid review meetings, contribute to proposal strategy, and incorporate all agreed actions into the final proposal.
6) Update the proposal Manager about progress and areas of difficulty on a regular basis.
7) Advance planning giving due importance to all aspects necessary to complete the proposals within the Schedule.
8) Prepare Direct & Indirect Project Resources and Cost Budgeting based on the Estimation.
9) Facilitate input from technical and commercial experts, partner organizations, and sub-contractors, where appropriate.
10) Review and Finalize Estimation, advise and oversee Commercial & Technical Bid Preparation.
11) Prepare the most competitive Techno-Commercial Proposals in compliance with company policies, procedures, practices, and as per the client requirements & specifications.
12) Assess the competition and competitors and Advise/ Assist management on key decision making
13) Liaise with internal departments to ensure the deadlines are met.
14) Handover of Bid Documents including ‘Rev.0’ budget to the Project Manager upon award of the contract.
15) Manage to and fro technical clarifications and pre-award correspondence with the clients.
16) Assist / Advice in the preparation & review of Project Plan & Schedule
17) Advice on Project Managers’ Critical Issues on Execution Standards and adaptable Procedures.
18) Set and Review Project progress, resource and Coasting Parameters and Alert Management on expenditure
19) Obtain and evaluate subcontract & materials quotations. Assist in the Evaluation and finalization of Sub-Contracts.
20) Deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations and facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
21) Evaluate Weekly & Monthly Progress Reports and advise management on execution strategies
22) Meeting with clients as and when necessary on Technical Matters.
23) Scan / Explore the Local Market for new leads or jobs when necessary.
24) Obtain feedback from Clients & Project Team on performance & competency and analyze with Estimation Parameters.
25) Liaison with clients and coordinate the management team for establishing key contracts.
26) Use personal & professional relations and sources for business tie-ups
27) Oversee the implementation of IMS / ISO procedures.
28) Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.
29) Reviews various status reports and addresses issues as appropriate.
